Amy Biddle's debut novel, The Athiest's Prayer, is a gritty comedic story with many characters each of whom brings a unique background and personality to a shared life experience. Using a rich and lively dialog, Biddle weaves three separate story lines into one very complex and thought provoking plot. The characters are portrayed as dynamic, complex, and evolving each with their own set of strengths, weaknesses, and believable contradictions. These troubled but entirely human people face challenges that provide a stage for Amy to raise more questions than she answers. Bravo!
